I retained the original title as a courtesy to those who might be following the "thread" ... though by the third or fourth leg it often DOES need a new name due to the natural tendency to wander off onto other topics. The original query concerned typing commands to the modem directly from the dos command prompt; where the DSZ title came from I know not.
