It's very useful but I end up with *.&&& files taking up space > and scattered everywhere. > John If you have SST (Supersonic Search Tool) you can just execute SST *.&&& -c"del &f" or SST -v *.&&& (verify on each deletion) or SST -v -n *.&&& (no verify) The file SST_53A.ZIP is available here, and there's probably a newer version around as well. (I just don't have it....) Anyway, any of the above commands will search the entire logged drive for the file you specified. SST is an extremely versatile program - highly recommended for any DOS command line junkies.
