I know that you are not the original poster, but, not having the original message, I shall respond to the base via your handle. You can effectivly double the available length of your path by putting the command in your CONFIG.SYS rather than your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. Your autoexec.bat file will only allow 127 characters per statement, yet your config.sys will allow up to 255.
