-=> Quoting Green Dragon #35 @1916006 to Jonnycarson #217 @1419016 <=- GD#@> I've always wondered what proprietary meant... please enlighten me... Certain components such as motherboards, will only fit in their own cases. This usually applies to desktop and slimline desktop cases not towers. ie: If you have, say, a Dell or Packard Bell desktop that's, let's say a 486/SX33 and you want to put in a new Pentium motherboard, you will in all probability not find a generic motherboard that will fit. Therefore, you will most likely only find a motherboard that fits if it comes from Dell or Packard Bell and at a very ridiculous high price. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 |
