Generally, the position a HD occupies on a ribbon cable has nothing to do with it being a master or slave. That is controlled by having the HD's jumpered properly and the CMOS set up correctly. There is no twist in a HD ribbon cable. Position of drives on ribbon cables usually, and only if the CMOS is correctly set, applies to floppies. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 |
