 Z#@> Have to wonder. It's also created on a systems boot disk. Hmmm...

  Because it's there if you have a drive DBLESPACE'd.  If it wasn't there
  and you tried to access a compressed drive, you couldn't.  DEL all the
  DBLESPACE stuff from everywhere and make another boot disk and it won't
  be there.

... Crack across the back of a head.  YES! Delete DBLSPACE.  It's safe.
