Well it's been several years since I heard my stereo since I've been in an
apartment and my wife wouldn't let me have it. Well when I sold my house I
was able to finally get my hands on my stereo and take it. My old altec
lansing speakers were suffering from foam rot so I went online and found one
of those repair kits on Ebay. It only cost me eighteen bucks and some time to
make them like new. I just hooked them up today with some monster cables and
they blew me away. I've not heard anything sound so f-ing loud in a long
time.  Really great mids and movie theatre lows. Nothing like the old stuff
for quality.
