Yes there is one now and it costs about $600.00. It's a machine that you
stick your vinyl LPs into and it reads the grooves with a laser that converts
the analog into digital. It would be great to have if you were a serious
collector because it takes the noise out. Theoretically, you can put a really
scratched up record in it and it will render a pristeen recording.
