It's just about the same price as an HP-T1000, $200... I think that one
reads & writes to QIC-80... at least that's what it looks like at the back
of the box... they put a "read-only" mode on the QIC-40's which I am not
really concerned about... AFter the T1000, I'll consider a Zip.
