Normally I don't bother with it for simple file transfers, I'll just type Dos commands pretty fast. But QD3 is a great all-round utility. You can rename. prune, move entire directories. Canage file attributes and view any documentation in Zipped files, view gif files and it has a very good editor! I've loaded a megabyte in it! It's great after you posted something on a networked sub and you want to edit the data file which may be very large. I've loaded data files over 6000 lines in it. You can use it from Dos or run it from an icon in Windows. It also has some features like memapmaker, looks at your system memory. It puts XtGold to shame! Ted |
