The same nonsense came out about Prodigy.  They probably CAN scan your HD
though.  But how would they know if it was pirated software or not?  Just
because you have Windows on your system doesn't mean you did or did not buy
it.  Besides, it could have been GIVEN to you by a friend who dumped his IBM
for a MAC.
