 Just curious, I have two Maxtor's also, a 130M thats been running almost
 forever problem-free, and a fairly new 540M. The smaller is quiet running,
 the larger is not, as it makes a lot of "pinging" when powered down... yeah,
 head crashing!? The deal is, that 540M is a second from Maxtor, as the first
 540M I had was even louder when powered down, and the Maxtor tech said that
 wasn't right! Anyone else?
