Well I got my new Precision Bass. Although it is the Standard P-Bass made in Mexico, it is a special version made with ash and has a natural finish. It plays wonderfully. The neck and intonation are correctly set and it has some rightous medium-light gauge strings on it. I can really get a nice slap / funk tone out of this and it's so versatile. Now I have to get a good loud rig to support it.
