A lot of people don't know the proper use of Windows, so here's a tip. Lets say I want to move some files around. When the Windows program manager comes up...click the upper left - sign. You will get the prompt "This will end your Windows Session" Click on OK! That's the first step in using WINDOWS to handle files!! If I'm just moving a lot of files from one directory to another I just use DOS commands and wildcard extensions and the ever useful ???. For special applications, I just type QD3 and call up QDOS! This is the best all purpose file handler and multiple utility. You can peak inside of ZIP files and a lot more. It has XT-Gold all beat! If you are still dragging the mouse on that silly Windows file Handler...get and install QDOS. It makes file handling so much easier! Mouse or Arrow keys! Ted (Dedicated user of QDOS ) |
