A. I house my Cds in a cabnet that I built. It is 6' tall and 3' wide with a
light included. It is full now so temporarly I store the additional CDs in
cases. I originally designed it to accept 2 doors which could also have
shelves...haven't done that YET though.

B. The earliest recording is of Scott Joplin-"Elite Syncopations" Classic
Ragtime From Rare Piano Rolls. This Cd is on the "Biograph" label (BCD102).
It includes 15 compositions by Joplin and one by W.C. Handy. "Maple Leaf
Rag", "Ole Miss Rag" and "Magnetic Rag" are hand played by Joplin himself!
The oldest on the CD is "Maple Leaf Rag" which was recorded on the Roll by
Joplin himself in 1899! There is GREAT detail included in the liner notes
about the music and the man. BIOGRAPH is a great label for this type of
music...highly reccommended for people interested in the "real" thing!

C. Well...I bought CDs from the advent of the format. I would have many more
if it wasn't for my habit of trading/selling things that I was tired of from
time to time. I bet I've sold/traded 300 or more through the years!

D. All Music? Hmmm...for the most part. I have some promo Cds with a
combination of singles and interviews. I have a PIL promo with Johnny Rotten
(Lydon) inteviewed on the radio with a remix of the interview?!? Quite
strange but cool at the same time! I also recently found a 2-CD Promo for the
David Bowie "Black Tie White Noise" release. One of the CDs is the regular
release with the other being the "World Premiere Weekend Interview". It has a
13 minute Historical collage, promos & intros and an interview of 45
questions & Answers. I paid 14.99 and a collector book that I own tells me
that it is worth 25.00 right now....that's if I would sell it!
