*no spoilers*

What was the general consensus on this? It's not too terrible on RT (64% and
63%, Critics vs Genearl Public) but so many bad reviews. When we were leaving
the theater here one of the other guests was telling us how upset he was.

Seems very polarizing. I can understand a bit, the whimsy nonsensical aspect of
it was maybe too ripe on some peoples sense of nostalgia, but the way they
played it into the movie in my opinion was pretty cool.

It also pulled in modern pieces/undertones of anti-capitalism that the
Wachowski sisters are not unknown for. I have no problems, in that regards it
is Matrix through, but some of it was a bit for tongue-in-cheek then expected
and I have to say that the fight scene choreography was a little low quality in
comparison to the original.

The role-reversal in the end was good to see in a modern movie and wasn't
over-hyped (but I think it was well sign-posted too).

Overall I enjoyed it, but also was disappointed slightly so the 65% of RT is
close to my own 70% score.
