I don't analyze everything I hear... I just notice a difference between original vinyl and many CD versions of the same albums. Sometimes a different mix is made when an older lp is released on CD. It's not really a big deal, and most of the time I'll grab the CD rather than the LP if I happen to have the same album in two different formats, just for the sake of convenience. I agree that the pops and scratches aren't missed a bit! Please don't get upset over this and quit the sub, as you threatened in a previous post. It's not worth it. As I said, to each his own. Now... since you complained about not enough Classic Rock posts, let me try to boggle you mind with some trivia and ask if you can remember who recorded the following songs: UM, UM, UM, UM, UM, UM (top 10 hit in 1965) LISTEN PEOPLE (top 10 hit in 1966) YOU AND ME (top 10 hit in 1977) |
