It is a bit difficult to compare these drummers because of their styles which represent the STYLE OF THE BAND they play with. While I respect BOTH drummers for what they do... If you are talking strictly from a Technical point of view, there is little comparison, dave Weckl is a far more advanced superior drummer... but His style in the Zepplin format would only be an annoyance, and John's playing within a Chick Corea Project would leave maybe a bit too muchh room. It's all just opinions, and theres mine. |
