Country music can be good.  The slow ballads have good lyrics if you bother
listening.  Tim McGraw's "Don't take the girl" is excellent and so are a lot
of Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Clint Black songs.  I don't listen to
country on the radio much, because of the faster paced songs which are more
often than not terrible, and because alternative, ska, techno, and punk are
better.  But when I'm sorta depressed, you can't beat a good country ballad.
Oh, for the uneducated, a ballad is a song that tells a story.
