Wow.  May the surgeon's hands be precise and effective in their  
work.

My dad went through open-heart for a valve replacement, and he  
was in ICU for several days. I don't think he felt very  
energetic right away - but the surgery made a huge improvement  
for him.

Good to hear that you have a vision to get back to doing what  
you love and keeping us updated personally!
