I have setup VADV32, VSMTP32, VIRC32, and soon VADV-PHP. VADV32 works as it has before, no real problems there. VIRC32 appears to work, but after a certain amount of time, you seem to lose the Synchronization, in other words, it gets to a point where people are talking in a channel, but a user no longer receives it. I would guess that would be a problem with VADVAUX itself? Also it seems to crash whenever you enter a channel with tons of users. One example was on irc.undernet.org, going into the channel #mp3passion. That channel is usually packed with users. I don't remember the error code, but perhaps with that info you can try it out to debug it. VSMTP32, I have set up, but I am not sure if I have it set up correctly or what, I went by the setup instructions, but so far it has not tried connecting to the mail server to send or receive mail. At what point does it connect to the mail server? or does it only listen for incoming mail? And finally, I plan on setting up VADV-PHP after I get the other stuff working. I have registered a domain for chris-co.org through iPowerWeb (10 GB of space with a lot of other goodies for less than $100 a year and no ads!). Does anyone else use iPowerWeb and know how I can make it where if someone attempts port 23 at the domain, it will reroute them to my BBS IP address so they can just run "telnet chris-co.org"?
