You can run it on any server. I run mine on a webserver because it is easier
for vadvphp to have access to the files. Because the BBS itself is 16-bit, you
have to be running a 32-bit version of Windows. If your server is running a
64-bit OS, then you can still run VADV in a Virtual Machine or possibly with
DOSbox.
