It looks like I spoke too soon.

* Status line can be disabled in code.
* The author's current website is vbsoft.dhakota.org/
* The author has released a utility called VBREG10.ZIP which will register
EasyDoor and remove the nag.  It also registers the Overkill door.

It looks like I have everything I need.  I'll play around with it and see.
