i'm in wisconsin.

any 4wd feels amazing in snow.
i have my ford explorer as a winter car. i never slip.

awd will cost you in gas money.  also i see those people in those little
subarus still drive like they are scared. it's still better than front wheel
drive, though.

Subarus are still little cars, and weight plays into driving in the snow.  my
ex's impreza was better than her 2wd dodge but it didn't compare to my suv with
driving in the snow. forresters are tiny too.

there are other cars with awd than subarus, also.
