Events are just commands issued to a command prompt (usually a batch file being
ran). Most often they initiate some kind of maintenance program (such as door
maintenance). Hard events boot all users offline before running and soft events
just run in the background with the users online. You typically want users off
the BBS while maintenance is being performed.
