Just to let everyone know that the next version of VADV32 will support hard
events. These are events that will disconnect all users before being executed,
typically useful with door maintenance.

I want to make everyone aware of a few things regarding this version when
released.

1. It will require Netfoss v1.01. Netfoss is packaged with the VADV32
installer, so if you install the new version then it will be updated. If you
use V32Update and only update the exe file, then you will need to manually
update Netfoss from www.netfoss.com. Netfoss v1.01 should be released in the
next few weeks and I'm waiting for it before releasing VADV32.

2. You should check your events that are currently configured and make sure you
have them set as you like (hard or soft).

3. There are new options in VADV32. You can still run the older versions of
Netfoss without any problems. There is a new option that is on by default for
Netfoss to handle socket disconnections. If you boot a user then Netfoss will
close the connection instead of VADV32 forcing the window closed. This is much
safer and a nicer way. If you turn off the option then VADV32 closes windows
like it has in the past.

The other option is when a hard event is ran, VADV32 will be placed into
offline mode until the event is done. While in offline mode, any user trying to
connect to your BBS will see a message and disconnected. This option is turned
on by default.

4. Users that are online will be warned ten minutes, five minutes and one
minute before the hard event that they will be disconnected. Also users
connecting to your BBS will be shown a message warning them of an upcoming
event (in the next two hours).
