It;s my first go at tryin > to put a board up again. Thanks No matter what I try over here I cannot seem to recreate an error 75. Here are some things to try: 1. Are you logged in as admin or as a user with read/write permissions for the c:\bbs directory? 2. Try disabling the XP firewall to see if that helps. (It should just come up with a window asking if you want to block or exclude VADV32 if it is on.) 3. VADV32 needs to be in the main BBS directory. If you installed VADV into c:\BBS, then VADV32 needs to be extracted into c:\BBS. 4. When you extract VADV32, it creates a directory called VBRUN60. Change to that directory (c:\BBS\VBRUN60) and run the .exe that is in there. This will install the VisualBasic 6 runtime. Is it loading the VADV32 window at all, or is it giving the error before VADV32 ever loads? Steve -- [AT2k] -- Your VBBS/VADV Support Center -- [www.at2k.org] -- [bbs.at2k.org] |
