Ok I've uploaded a new testversion for you to try out. I added a new format
called VFILES.BBS. Its format is:

FILENAME.EXT<space>Long Description<CHR 4>Short Description

The CHR 4 looks like a diamond in DOS. You can get it in a text editor by
loading edit.com then press Ctrl-P then press Ctrl-D. You can save it to a text
file and load it in notepad and copy/paste that character which will look like
a square in Windows. This format is a variation of the descript.ion format.

If no short description is found then it treats it just like the standard
FILES.BBS. The VFILES.BBS file has precedence over all other description files.

You can download the testversion at:
ftp://ftp.at2k.org/testversions/vfilesyn.exe
