As a follow up on this...

Roger has been using Vista for a while and has informed me of problems from
time to time. I've fixed the issues I could but we found out further
information yesterday.

The main issue is that Vista's command.com is broken. This will affect all DOS
programs that has to shell to perform specific tasks. This is evident in
vnet.exe which will not process packets. Also affected are scripts and function
blocks.

You can see for yourself the issue:
In a command prompt, type this: "command.com /c dir"

You'll notice that it does not list any directory names or files. You can see
how this affects DOS programs by trying something like "command.com /c copy
file1.txt file2.txt"

That will result in a file not found error.

So the issue is not VADV, it is a MS problem. Hopefully SP1 will fix this.
