What I always found amusing was the animated flying envelopes for emails and 
Usenet postings in Mission Impossible.... Tom Cruise being a super hacker 
spamming every group involving the Book of Job.

And every movie involving tech just HAS to have a big countdown timer, big
24-point fonts etc. Beep beep beep.

Remember Under Siege where the entire navy ship's computers have to reboot and
its the sound of the Apple 2 floppy-boot sequence? Same with The Fugitive 
where Harrison Ford searches a database for one-armed men. Apple floppy noise.
