Hi Grant,

I don't have this setup anymore, but I was using a StarTech ICUSB232 USB to
Serial adapter plugged into a USR Sportster 56k modem.  For the phone line I was
using a Cisco SPA112 provisioned with service from voip.ms.

I remember there were a couple of settings I needed to change on the SPA112,
making sure the firmware was updated (1.4.1 SR5) and some changes under audio
configuration to get it to connect at all.

Troubleshooting Section 2 are the settings you're after.
