VADV32 with BRE

I noticed that when using VADV32 and when using the door Game BRE that the
performance of BRE was very sluggish compared to just in VADV.  Is there some
setting that has to be tweak to get the the performace back?

This was on a Windows 2000 Advance Server test box accessing main BBS machine
on Win98 via network share.
