It's a show with about 13-15 bands that all do 3-4 of their hits. Groups like Trans-X, Naked Eyes, Annimotion, Wang Chung, The (English) Beat, Shannon, Stacy Q, and believe it or not, Musical Youth. This is our 4th year going and it's always a good, entertaining show, lasts for about 6 hours and not expensive. The tour is about to come to a close for this year. I was speaking to the organizer, and he said this may be the last year. It's a lot of effort to get so many bands together in one spot for one night and this is something like their 21st year doing the tour. I must admit, the venue was maybe half full. They do recycle a lot of the same acts. Wang Chung are always good though, but you can only see Naked Eyes so many times really. --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: End Of The Line BBS - endofthelinebbs.com (618:250/19) |
