I'm sure most of you are aware that VADV32 v2.6 was released a few days ago. If you do not know that then now you do A lot of changes are in this version including many new features and a lot of code changes to make it more stable/less error prone. For those of you who have it on auto update then I'm sure you have noticed a lot of new versions in the last three days. An issue cropped up a couple days after the release. It wasn't a major issue but something I wanted to address since it could cause problems the longer the program was running. Well after resolving that and putting out the release, a few hours later I noticed that BBSfinder didn't seem to work correctly anymore. It was working just fine but it was displaying a "No Response" message. This was due to the last fix. Well I fixed that and released the 060523 version but this morning while BBSfinder was down I noticed it was telling me "Unknown Response" which it should never do unless BBSfinder goes haywire. Well I goofed so that is why the 060524 version is out. It should be the last one for a while. Anyway I wanted to let you know what all these releases were about. I hope you enjoy this new version. It is definately the best one yet. I've got some stuff planned for v3.0 but I'll discuss it at a later date. Steve -- [AT2k] -- Your VBBS/VADV Support Center -- [www.at2k.org] -- [bbs.at2k.org] |
