Summary0000020: Email notifications
DescriptionHave VADV32 send a separate "You've Got Mail" email to an another email
address, without forwarding the original email leaving it as unread. This
could use to send a notification to a cell phone as text message or to
internet email account when new mail arrives. The original email could
still generate the mail read notification back to the sender in the BBS when
the Sysop reads it, which doesn't occur if the mail is forwarded to the internet.
This would help the Sysop get the issues raised by users while the Sysop is away from the BBS. This might could be expanded for other notifications as well. Daily heartbeats and/or worthy alerts.

I'll add this for the sysop account (via vadv32 configuration). Regular users will have to wait for vpop32 if i get to it.

I've added the option to get email notifications of sysop emails (heh). It definately needs some testing, but it seems to be working ok here.
